In 2017 I had an incredible experience backpacking for one month throughout Iran. Not only did my time dispell myths about how Western media portray's a false "extremist culture", everything I thought I knew was completely turned on its head. The level of warmth and hospitality I experienced from Iranians was extraordinary and I'll never forget the kindness, curiosity and safety I felt everywhere I went.
